Crepe-sole Chelsea boots in leather

I agree with the person who said the color is not the warm caramel color depicted in the photos. But I am ok with the black and tan combo. My foot is narrow, so the width is not a problem for me. I’m a 6.5, and these are true to size and comfortable IMO. The leather is nice, but not the richest. The toe is a contrasting nubuck. Hoping the leather will age nicely. I got them at a great price, so I’m satisfied. Looking forward to adding these to my fall wardrobe!

I've had these boots for a few weeks and wore them about 6-8 times in dry weather. I was interested in them because of the Crepe sole material known for comfort in walking and standing. The boots are slightly tight in the toe area but they don't break-in because the black tip is not leather. I thought these would be my favorite go to boots this Fall/Winter but cannot wear them more than a couple of hours at a time. They pinch in the bunion area of the foot. A couple of days ago I noticed a water stain on the leather part. JCrew Shoes have not been comfortable or well made for some time now. I doubt I will be buying shoes from J.Crew again. BTW, once you were them outside, you cannot return them back, so be careful!

I like these boots, but not loving them, though quality is good, they run slightly narrow as my small toes are pinched, but they should stretch. I would have preferred the lighter color as it appears on my monitor as they are more brown. Overall, easy to put on, not clunky & functional if you need a walking boot. I love JCrew, but not sure if I’ll keep or not!
