Leather lace-up boots

These boots are gorgeous, well made and I got them on sale so I ordered both black and brown. I love everything about them. The zip on the side makes them easy to get on and off and they are pretty comfortable for boots.

I keep looking to see if I can order a second pair but they are sold out. These are sleek and high quality and easy zip up on the ankle. I wear them with skirts and jeans, very on-trend and a bit more refined than Docs (no shade on Docs at all).

These are beautifully made lace up boots and surprisingly comfortable and not bulky. I bought the brown & black based on the photos of the model wearing the black boots with a dark brown heel and sole. Unfortunately some photos show a brown sole and some show a black sole, so you’re not sure which one you’ll get. I’d have preferred the black leather and brown sole. Maybe the brown sole is an old model but J.Crew needs to update their site if that’s the case. Both boots are beautiful and look great on any body type, so I’m keeping them anyway. I’m typically 9.5 and bought them in that size but I’ve found that J.Crew shoes run slightly big, though I’d still say tts. If you’re looking for an all black lace up boot these are perfect!

The boots are stylish, but extremely uncomfortable on the top.

These have a rather low instep.... everything else is fine. Am still deciding whether or not to keep them bc of the instep problem

I will look for the other colors in these, but I bought the embossed walnut. What a great idea to have a lace-up that ALSO has a zipper for convenience! I was able to loosen and tighten the laces in just the right places, then slip on the boots and zip them up for convenience. The leather is a little stiff, but I like the look and the quality is good. I also like having the bowling-alley striped laces AND the neutral ones, this was a great find.
