Metallic winter boots with wedge crepe sole

Just received my boots today to have for when winter comes again. JCrew never disappoints! I am a true sz 10 and let me tell you, I could have done a 9.5! The good thing is I can wear thick socks with them. The toe box is roomy and perfect for someone with wide feet. I have Med width feet. Still love my purchase :)

I have been wanting these boots since they appeared on the site for the Winter. (I couldn’t think of a reason to buy more boots other than I need gold boots for Notre Dame football games!) I am an avid JCrew shopper. My closet is about 75% JCrew, everything from shoes to boots to casual dresses for summer and all kinds of winter coats that I’ve collected over the years to cashmere sweaters. Just trying to portray that I spend a ton on JCrew merchandise. These particular boots are truly half a size too big. It rarely ever happens that size 7 doesn’t fit me perfectly, especially in a boot. Unfortunately, I bought them on final sale, so I can’t return. I can’t even exchange for a 6.5 if I wanted to because those sold out about two months ago. I’ll just have to wear thicker socks to Fall & Winter college football games. The perfect place to wear gold boots. God. Country. Notre Dame.

I got these on impulse but could not have imagined how much I'd love them! First, they are so cool looking. Be prepared for strangers to comment on them. But they are also surprisingly comfy and practical! I actually hiked in them for several miles through muddy woods the second time I wore them, and they were perfect. My new favorite boots!

Everyone notices these really, really cool gold boots. They are nice and wide in the toe box and comfortable all day. I couldn’t be happier that I bought these!
