Fits true to size
Good quality boot
December 13, 2020I bought the black and brown boot because I absolutely love the color contrast. This boot is made very well and fits true to size. I own many j crew boots and I was a little disappointed with this one because they changed the toe shape to a pointier or more narrow shape. It still fits true to size but makes this beautiful boot look like a size 10 from the side instead of an 8. Also this new design has made the toe area a little more snug. Not my favorite design but it’s a beautiful boot and well worth the price if you don’t mind an elongated look.

bunching at ankle
November 28, 2020These were not attractive once they were on. My calves are average size, and they fit comfortably, but the leather bunched at the ankle and I knew they would hurt when wearing them.

Riding Boots? More like Poop Boots
November 19, 2020Ladies run away from these!!! I read the reviews and was on the fence. 100% baggy at the ankles! I don’t have wide legs at all and they run small. Went to the store and they even said it was “not what was described.” You might think oh great price! It’s a final sale item and the only winner will be the person you give them away to, donate to or if you can get them returned. JCrew disappointed this girl and I order a ton.

November 15, 2020i'm returning these...the foot bed and the hill...something was off. And, then to complicate matters, there was a zipper in the middle on the sides? WHY? i feel so bad that such good leather was wasted on such a horribly designed boot. don't buy these boots. j.crew--stop orders. NOW!

Gorgeous leather boots
November 9, 2020I can't believe I got these on major sale! The Sepia color is incredibly rich and the leather is high quality. These boots will age nicely I think. I sized up a half size based on other reviews and glad I did. I have athletic, but I think normal-sized calves and don't have any problem with slouching ankles. I would actually prefer a bit more room in the width, but otherwise these are perfect.

October 24, 2020I wasn't sure about them because of the reviews but I'm glad I got them, they're beautiful! I didn't find them wide on the calves or the ankles, for me they look perfect. I'm a happy customer, thanks Jcrew :)
