Manebi Portofino espadrille flats

I would have given these more stars if I could get them on my foot. I wear a 9 to a 9 1/2. I normally would order shoes like these in a 39, but felt safe ordering the 40 on a final sale. They fit more like a 38. They are also narrow. When I took them out of the box, I thought I was sent the wrong size. The fabric and colors are pretty, but the sizing is ridiculous, to the point of defective.

I followed the other reviewers suggestions to size up. I was looking for summer shoes to wear to school. They are so cute and good quality. At first, they were very tight. I thought I should have sized up two sizes.This was a final sale, so I had to give them a try. After wearing them around the house for an afternoon, they loosened up. I've worn them to school twice and now they fit perfectly. Despite not having an arch support, these espadrilles are really comfortable! Warning: the stripes are not in the same place on each shoe. If asymmetry isn't your thing, skip these shoes.

I just received these and they are so cute! They are well made and comfortable.I'll just add that there is no arch support and it seems to run one size small. I'll order one size larger for my next pair.
