ISA TAPIA™ Isla mules

This is such a beautiful shoe, and I paid full price because I believe the quality is worth it..however the fit does not come without issues. The workmanship is absolutely stunning and it was nice to have leather materials. I've noticed that so many of JCrew's items run extraordinarily narrow, and I continue to have to order up. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the quality; however it is frustrating to feel larger than you are. Overall, nice look, but the sole is weirdly narrow and a bit short as well. I am a longtime 10.5 and purchased the 11, but my heel seems to come over the edge even as I try to push it as far in as possible. I have a pretty narrow foot too. Maybe the material will stretch? (Not counting on it.) Am going to make it work, but I ended up ordering a few other pairs of JCrew sandals along with this pair, and they fit much better when I order up--but I had to order a 12! I hope the persistent sizing issues are something the designers can evaluate.
