What customers are saying:
Customers really like the attractive colors and stylish design of these shoes, noting that the colors match the online images perfectly. Many mentioned that the shoes are comfortable enough for all-day wear and pair well with a variety of outfits. However, several customers suggested reinforcing the midfoot area to prevent the slight opening or bulge during walking. Overall, the feedback is positive with a recommendation to enhance the midfoot construction for an even more secure feel.

Marie Tab loafers....Cute shoes but WAY too big
January 10, 2022I usually wear a size 6 in J Crew shoes but these are very wide and too long. I bought boots this year and the 6 was perfect. Very disappointed because JCrew usually fits my feet well! I bought these on sale and can't exchange. The burnished pecan is a great color. Reviews were very mixed. Lots of reviews said "runs small" therefore, I went with size 6.

Beautiful Shoes- Try 1/2 Size Down
November 26, 2021I am almost *always* a size 9 medium, but, after reading reviews about this shoe gaping mid-foot, I decided to try a size 8.5 on the hunch that I could break them in and avoid that issue. When they arrived, were just the tiniest bit snug, but the leather was soft and supple. I wore them around the house twice, for 30 minutes at a time, and they are now perfectly broken-in and comfortable, with no gaping mid-foot. They are also really flattering on the foot. The burnished pecan color is exactly as pictured. The color looks particularly great with light denim and navy. Final verdict - this is a beautiful, high quality shoe. Would highly recommend.

BEAUTIFUL AND COMFY!
November 17, 2021I purchased the pink suede color and they're absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. They do open in the middle of the foot as other reviews state but they are soft shoes meaning if they were stiff the opening wouldn't happen. TBH I could care less if they do that while I'm walking because it makes them more comfortable to be able to wear 8+ hours at work per day! They look great with jeans, skirts, black skinny pants, white denim.. you name it, they add a pop of color. I wish the teal shade was still available but I purchased the pecan color and they're stunners! I'm a TTS 7.5 and these run TTS.

It's A Loafer
November 11, 2021I missed out on suede loafers last year and I was determined to have them this year. My natural foot size is an 11. It can fluctuate to a 11.5 or 12 depending on the shoe maker. Last year I purchased leather based loafers in an 11 and they were 12 small; this year thinking the same thing I did the same. The 12s were too big. I ordered/exchanged for an 11 and those were too tight/small. Unfortunately, they weren't perfect. I'm stuck with two pairs to try to "Make it work. " I'll still invest in the same look next year, just hoping for better a better fit.

Gorgeous color
September 14, 2021The suede leather on the camel pair is so pretty! Will go with everything this fall. Like other reviewers said they do flare out slightly around the edges of your foot, so I definitely would not recommend if you have very thin feet. I’m hoping to wear these through my pregnancy so that feature will actually be perfect as my feet swell.

Poor quality, Cheap looking
September 10, 2021I have been a J Crew fan for decades... Lately, I have noticed a drastic change in the ladies’ footwear. The awesome Kiki shoes (of which this mommy of two owns at least 1/2 a dozen pairs) have been replaced by cheap looking, unstructured, and uncomfortable flats. Similarly, the once high end J Crew loafers have been replaced by trashy looking, flimsy versions; like this pair. It is clear that J Crew decided to cut corners compromising the quality of its products. Bring back talents like Mickey Drexler before our beloved brand goes down the drain.
