Sorrento made-in-Italy cross-strap sandals in leather

I really like the look of these. They do seem to run a little large. I got my usual size 8, and it's possible that a 7.5 would have worked. They rub your feet in a couple places-- at the ankle bone and the heel. I might add some moleskin to ward off blisters, but these are not shoes to wear for a long day of walking.

I love the color and prominent buckles of these gladiator-like sandals. Unfortunately the high back leather rubs the backs of my ankle and I found them uncomfortable. I had to return. I know I wouldn’t be able to wear these for long periods and weren’t worth keeping. Too bad, very pretty.

These are great, great, great! I’ve been looking for a gladiator-type with a little less work than wrap, wrap, wrap, tie & these are definitely sleeker without losing the vibe. Love the silver detailing- the silver footbed & buckles pop. Footbed is slightly cushy, the leather is thick, luscious & comfy. I wear 7 1/2 usually, but am finding the JCrew summer sandals a little roomy, so I got the 7- absolutely just right. This is sandal love, my friends!
