Block-heel multistrap sandals in metallic leather

This pair is very wide on all the straps and the only thing that tries to keep them on is the very thin crossed and wrapped ankle strap. If I even tried to wear, those straps would cut like a knife with the stress of my foot slipping around in a very loose shoe. I am angry that a company as large as Crew would sell shoes that (unworn) cannot be returned! Even if they are clearance, shoes are hard to to fit and vary wildly on particulars related to different humans. I bought 2 pairs and will not be able to wear either! That is a lot of $$ wasted and it makes me angry. I read all the reviews to get a determination didn’t work. Very upset

The styling and quality are on-point as always with J.Crew shoes, however the very thin straps rub my heel raw on my Achilles tendon and the lower straps are a bit wide and my feet have a tendency to slide forward. I may try a stick on insole cushion for the balls of my feet to keep them from sliding forward. Love how they look, heel height is great, hopefully I can figure out how to wear them by the time the weather really warms up.

These are comfortable, versatile sandals. The lower straps are a bit wide, which is why I didn't give these 5-stars. I purchased sticky gel pads and they fit much better.
