What customers are saying:
Customers really love the fresh color and overall flattering style of these shoes, noting that they match the pictures and work well with many outfits. Several customers pointed out that the back strap tends to slip off, and they suggested strengthening or redesigning it to improve stability when walking. Overall, while the shoes are stylish and comfortable in many respects, many customers recommended a more secure back strap to keep them in place during use.

Issues but entirely workable
January 19, 2023When I love something, I make it happen- unlike fetch. This style reminds me of Louboutins of yore but with a way more walkable heel height. I bought all 3 colorways. Yes the back strap is a bit large and slips off. But I bought some removeable shoe straps from Amazon to keep them on until I make it to my cobbler. You can also place foot petals under the front of your foot to raise it a bit for better fit. Cheap fix for an amazingly comfortable yet sexy heel. How often do you find that? So I made them work. I love them!

Strap does not stay
January 2, 2023Other commenters are correct, the strap on these shoes does not stay in place. I thought that because the toe box/vamp comes up quite high, I might be fine walking in them more like a mule, but I made the mistake of wearing hose the first time I wore them and that was completely impossible. They're an amazing flattering pair of shoes though, I am going to take them to a cobbler to have an ankle strap put on and I think they'll be perfect then. If you really love these, buy them and work with a cobbler to make them work for you!

Buyer Be Aware!
January 1, 2023I have been eyeing these shoes for the longest time and I finally pulled the trigger and bought them. As mentioned in the other reviews, the back strap does NOT stay on at all. I couldn't keep it on while trying the shoes in my living room. I searched online for tips to keep the back strap on and that's how I'm planning on tackling the most annoying issue in this shoe.

Sling back doesn't stay on
December 7, 2022Such cute shoes, but the sling back doesn't stay up. I took my first 10 steps outside and almost fell twice. Really disappointed, I never have issues with JCrew clothes and accessories.

So Pretty..So Returned.
October 8, 2022God these were beautiful. The color and how they look on the foot are perfection. When you try them on choirs of angels sing. Then you wear them and almost break your neck multiple times because that strap either is so flimsy or stretches out so bad or I don’t know that they will constantly fall off and you’ll be almost 100% guaranteed to embarrass yourself. So close yet so far. And yes, I fell. Three times. And I have the grace of a gazelle so that wasn’t something I’m used to. Nothing is broken don’t worry.

More like a mule than a slingback pump
September 10, 2022I was so excited for this shoe but unfortunately this was disappointing. First the good: the color is really perfect! The light cappuccino is just as shown and can go with so many outfits! The size is true to size. The toe box is actually very comfortable and does not leave you feeling squeezed in. The bad: the back strap is so flimsy and small that it does not stay on my foot. It slips off my foot within 3 steps and then falls down, forcing me to reach down and readjust it by hand. So functionally, this is a mule… if that’s what you’re looking for then that’s great! But unfortunately for me, these will be going back.
