I wanted them to work so badly....
December 23, 2025I wanted to love these shoes so much because they are so cute and stylish. I received them today and unfortunately I should have listened to the reviews. They are so uncomfortable and they literally cut into my feet. The Raffia stitching is very hard & stiff and would make my feet bleed if I wore them more than 3 feet. I wish I had listened to the reviews as these are final sale. I'm so sad… They are so cute but so uncomfortable and impossible to wear.

Uncomfortable and unwearable
November 15, 2025The shoes feel like they're lined with sandpaper and burrs. Unbelievably uncomfortable making them unwearable. J Crew- these should not be final sale.

stiff leather
October 15, 2025These shoes are so disappointing, the leather and sewing is extremely stiff and uncomfortable, they cut your feet, I have worn them around the house for over a month to break them in and they are still hurting my feet. not sure when they can venture outside the house....

Perfect espadrilles
September 21, 2025These shoes are adorable. I have read the reviews and can see where maybe they might hurt a bit as the leather is stiff. But, I took my chances and am glad I did. These are beautifully crafted and very stylish.

Size up and add insoles for comfort
September 9, 2025Sizing and Fit: I normally wear size 8.5 but sized up to 9, and these cute shoes fit perfectly. This trick worked well for wide feet and flat arches. Comfort Note: These shoes have no interior lining or cushioning, so the raffia material can rub against the bottom of your feet and cause irritation. I recommend purchasing separate insole padding for better comfort. Overall: Great fit when sized up, but plan to add your own cushioning for all-day wear.

Heavy Shoes
August 2, 2025They’re ok but I don’t love them. They are HEAVY, which in turn causes the top straps to dig into the top of your foot every time you lift your leg. Great concept, subpar execution.
