Seville espadrille wedges in stripe

I bought the same size as I normally do in this shoe but this pair is huge- I can’t even wear them bc my feet keep coming out of them.

I’m writing a review just to help you out here, these run really big. Be aware. They are cute, but if you want to risk it, size down. I bought these shoes on final sale and I don’t think I can wear them at all, they are so much bigger than expected. And I agree with the woman who said the right shoe is bigger than the left. It keeps falling off of my foot on my test runs in my apartment. I bought a ton of other stuff from Jcrew during this sale time, including other shoes, and everything else Is the standard you expect. I think there may have been a production problem here.

Sorry j crew...I was so disappointed when I received these espadrilles. I have most all the colors across j crew and factory and these do not measure up in the slightest. I wish I could have returned them as they are sub par and not the quality I expect from this brand. Plastic lining, right shoe is bigger than the left and the linings aren’t secured to the sole so they make uncomfortable sticking sounds when you walk in them. Feel horrible on my feet- hot and uncomfortable. Can’t keep the right shoe on my foot either because it is larger than the left. Other than the cute blue stripes and an espadrille, these are not at all what I thought I was getting. Unfortunately, they were final sale. Waste of money. I cannot wear shoes unless they are lined with leather, or the classic cotton typical of the construction of j crew’s espadrilles. Even the factory store’s espadrilles are higher quality than this particular pair. What is going on here guys???

The toe box in this shoe is a little uncomfortable. I think that since they run a little large, my feet kept sliding toward the front and it caused my toes to hurt. They are flexible in what you can wear them with though.

I have several pairs of wedges from J Crew Factory (similar style to this shoe). Those wedges fit great, are comfortable...and they are quiet. I'm not sure what it is about this shoe, but it squeaks every time you take a step. It's also slightly loose for an 8 1/2. I thought I could get over the noise, but it's really annoying. Also, I feel like if I can hear it, so can everyone else. Sadly I'll be returning them.
