Violetta made-in-Italy thong sandals in metallic leather

Thank you to the reviewers who recommended sizing up for this sandal. Normally, I’m a 7M but I sized up to an 8 for these. This truly is the size I needed with enough heel room and just barely enough toe room for my foot. These are non-returnable so I’m relieved that they fit. I bought the green metallic to match a JC sundress and they are so pretty! Just wish there was more consistent sizing.

I love these, but I sized up a half-size based on reviews and could have gotten an 8 as my foot barely fits in a 7.5. I am normally a 6.5-7. The color is beautiful, and the shoes seem well-made but they run very, very small & narrow - a whole size small. I would be very angry if I had ordered my regular size & received shoes this small. The sizing at J. Crew is so inconsistent and all over the place - allowances should be made for even exchanges instead of making them final sale. 1 star for the sizing, 5 stars for the shoes.

Pretty shoes. I am a true size 8, I ordered a 9 based on reviews and they fit just fine. Honestly, a 9.5 would also fit, my heel is right on the edge. Haven't worn these out, but they look great around my apartment!
