Pretty but quality issues
September 21, 2024I really liked the style of these, but after wearing only a few times the heel completely fell off one of the shoes. Disappointing as I was hoping to take these on a trip.

Beautiful but cheaply made
September 19, 2024This review is both good and bad - I felt like 2 stars accurately reflected my experience with these sandals. First off, they’re beautiful. I bought these specifically for my trip to Italy where I knew we were going to be doing a lot of walking. These were so versatile with all of my outfits (I also brought another pair of shoes). But these were perfect for evenings out. We were in Italy for 9 days. After the first 4 days, I noticed the sole began to come apart on one sandal. A couple of days later, the same thing happened with the other sandal. On night 8, we were walking to dinner and one of the heels completely fell off onto the sidewalk. So, although these are so beautiful and comfortable, they quite literally fell apart over the duration of 9 days. So disappointing!

Best purchase of the summer
September 15, 2024I love the style of these sandals! Such a versatile basic that goes with everything. They look great with shorts, dresses, pants even jeans. My only complaint is that there is no cushioning or foot support whatsoever but that is very common with this type of shoe. I needed a bit of a break in period with these as well, the leather is a little stiff at first. The other thing that I have noticed across the board with all jcrew shoes is that they fit about a half size too small. I wish I had gotten a 5 1/2 or even 6 but they were out of stock. I would definitely buy in other colours if they make more.
