Pretty but not for long day wearing...
September 20, 2022This shoe is nice and and interesting look with pants and long dresses/skirts - bought both the black & white on sale. Haven't had issues with them breaking as other reviews have stated but are hard to walk in for long periods due to hard platform doesn't give - not much arch support. Back piece does rub but a preventive band aid will prevent. I like them as they are leather and look well made. Will wear them keeping in mind not a lot walking. Glad I got them on sale.

Not a bad sandal
August 18, 2022This sandal was giving a bad review. I almost didn’t purchase because of the reviews but decided to purchase anyway and so glad I did. These sandals are so cute and comfy too. I purchased both colors.

Cute shoe but painful beyond belief!
August 12, 2022This shoe! I wore them once and my in-step has been sore the entire week. The sole is awkward and flaps like a flip flop -- even with the ties. I promise you -- leave these shoes here. Not worth the pain! (I never write reviews so this one has to be a fail).

Super cute, but snapped on the first wear.
June 28, 2022Loved these sandals, but they were a let down. I expect the leather to feel a bit rough on the first few uses as any leather sandal would. What I did not expect was the elastic entirely snapping off on the first use on my way to work. It wasn't the seam coming undone as they look well sewn and constructed, but the actual elastic snapped where the seam is. Too bad, I really wanted to wear these all summer.

Stay away from jcrew shoes generally
June 25, 2022Shoes made by JCrew are just not it. These are my *third* pair that I've regretted buying and I think I've learned now. These specifically are cute, but the fabric part behind the foot rubs against your foot with every step and is PAINFUL. I have a wound that is scabbing now after using them to go to the grocery store. Seriously. The stretchy strap also BROKE within 5 minutes of walking around while I was out. Embarrassing. So cheap and poorly made. Don't buy.

Cute but NOT a soft sole = NOT a Comfortable Walk
June 24, 2022The outsole is extremely stiff, if you are looking for a soft flexible walking sandal, this one is NOT it. I just wish I could return them, final sale and no returns accepted. I bought the black and bone colors unfortunately:(
