Fits small
Cute sandals
September 15, 2020I loved these sandals and was fortunate to get them on sale. I bought two pair (One white, one tan) in two different sizes because of availability. The smaller ones fit my foot well but the ankle strap, as mentioned in other reviews, was very small. I was able to make an additional hole which made it more comfortable. The larger size had plenty of strap but the shoe was a little large on my foot. I decided to keep both in spite of the sizing issue because they were so cute.

Cute but straps too small
August 16, 2020I have ordered 8+ pairs of shoes from JCrew and these were the first miss, maybe it’s because I am a larger size, but the ankle straps for size 10 aren’t cut long enough to even go around the ankle. A person would have to have skinny ankles to buckle these. Not sure what I’ll do with them since they were a final sale

Casual elegance
August 16, 2020I purchased both tan & black and they’re really lovely. I wear a narrow sz 5 and they fit perfectly. I don’t usually like an ankle strap, but these are the exception. They do take a little breaking in, but the leather is soft & buttery and the color tan is perfection. They’re casual & elegant and can be worn w/ just about anything! One of my favorite buys in recent months from my beloved J Crew. Luv luv luv. Would love to see these in more colors!

Cute, comfy but wish the heel strap was tighter
August 13, 2020I’m either a 7.5 or 8 in Jcrew shoes and I went with the 8 (same as my other sandals) and they are a bit too big in the heel strap (which I don’t think would change by going down to 7.5). The part around the heel is fixed while the ankle strap you can tighten. For these to fit me without being loose in the heel I have to tighten the ankle strap higher up on my ankle. I purchased as a final sale so I’m going to make it work since they are really cute and comfortable!
