Menorca padded thong sandals in leather

Horrible sizing. Something about the way they're made makes it impossible to wear them. While the length of the sandals was right the top stripe that goes in between toes was placed too low on the sole resulting entire foot being slightly pushed downward the sandal. I was refused to return it since the return window passed and I ddin't try them on time for the return. Tried to wear them and even fix them with shoemaker nothing worked. I had to give them to second hand shop.

Close, but no cigar! Glad I bought these on super duper sale, so I'm not terribly disappointed - but I am, frankly, a little surprised. There was clearly thought in the design, and I appreciate the padding in a flip flop. They're walkable, and the blue color is very pretty and fresh. The leather is nice and soft, and doesn't dig into your feet like many strappy sandals do. They are weirdly narrow, though - and I have fairly narrow feet, so I can't really see people with flatter arches or wider feet finding these very comfortable. The way that the straps are attached closest to your ankle are kind of off, too - the outer strap feels like it's pulled a bit too tight, and my feet feel like they're pushed to the inner part of the shoe. I'd love to see a tweaking of the style - the colors and simplicity of the design are timeless and I'd love to potentially have several colors.
