Perfect shirt with embellished cherries

My bad. I thought I had bought a preppy Spring/Summer button up with embroidered cherries on a navy background. It arrives and I see that the cherries are embroidered onto the shirt but their leaves are shiny green leaf-shaped sequins! What a confusing look. It's not cool retro preppy, nor holiday wear. It went straight into the donate box.

Sadly when I received this it looked like it had been through the ringer. The cherries were not tightly sewn and most were frayed. In addition to this, it ran a size too small and was covered in hair. I got this on sale and wasn't able to return it.

I love Jcrew for it's creativity and clothes that are unique. However, the cuteness, the quality on this shirt is poor. The very first time I wore this shirt, (2) cherries fell off and I can't find them. I was devasted as I can no longer wear the shirt. I paid more than what the price is now. The threading is poor and I would not recommend purchasing. I have a desk job, so I was not even active in the shirt. The second disappointment is - "slim cut" was never mentioned. This shirt is slim. Size up if you don't want it sticking to you.

Very cute shirt runs small I’m 5,5 147lbs and I order size 6 I think 8 would be better but I still used and felt comfortable. Great look with red jeans love it

The fit is perfect with the right amount of stretch and just about the right length. It hits exactly where i want it to

Love, love this shirt! The fit is perfect. Super cute design. Got lots of compliments. The only drawback is the embellishments aren’t sewn in very well. Many of the cherries and leaves have already fallen off. If I was lucky to find it, I’d have to sew it back on again. Bit of a hassle. Definitely have to hand wash since I’m afraid of losing more cherries in the wash. (Another hassle).
