Linen drawstring dress with embroidery

This is one of my favorite recent purchases from J.Crew. Got this dress in black. It's substantial weight but not too heavy. And even though it's linen it doesn't look like an old Kleenex after a hour or two of wear. Love the drawstring waist and hem details. I do wish it had adjustable shoulder straps though. The top gaps slightly and it would be nice to have the ability to cinch the top. Otherwise, very happy with this purchase.

Good for warm Fall. Color is darker than photo, but still nice

I bought this on a whim and I am very surprised by two things. One I already mentioned (pockets) and the other: there are small button clasps on the shoulder straps to keep your bra in place! It wasn't mentioned but my mother used to sew these on, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw these already built in! In addition, this fit amazingly and not too tight. I am a C cup, and this had enough room but not too much. I may have to take in the straps a tad because I am built rather short, but there's also extra strap length sewed in if you need to add length to the straps. The material feels very nice and there's another layer in the bottom part of the dress. Overall, I loved this purchase and I am thinking about getting the black one in the same style!

Adorable and perfect little linen dress. Classic and cute. The only negative is the straps are not adjustable, so they slip with a strapless bra.

I’m typically a 6 at J.Crew but sized down to a 4 due to the fear that it might be a bit large, but it’s still too big. I’m a 36A with a 28” waist and the top really gapes on me. The waist is big but can be tightened with the tassel tie. Wish I could exchange it for a 2! I really love the color and details and fabric, it’s just too big. :(

This is a great dress. So happy I purchased it. The fabric is comfortable and breathable— perfect any summer activity.
