Boys' point-collar solid Ludlow shirt

If you want something very lightweight, you will love this. I am in Oregon and as a formal shirt for the fall/winter, the fabric is a bit thin. I haven't washed it/cleaned it yet so I don't yet know how it stands up to cleaning.

I have ordered this item many times in the past for my son. The first time I ordered this item my son was 5 years old. When he gets too big, I order the same shirt in a larger size. (with personalization) It has been my favorite J.Crew boys item. This time I ordered the same shirt and the monogram is very poorly done. The quality is unacceptable. I am actually surprised that the item shipped as is. It is ineligible for return because it is a personalized item. I am hoping this is just a mistake so that I can order my favorite shirt again. By the way, we have called my son the "crew cuts kid" because we have ordered so many items over the years.

A lightweight dress shirt for boys that finally doesn't look like a sack (hard to come across these days), isn't too big in the chest or waist, fits slim like the men's ludlow shirts, and also looks like a million bucks.

This shirt is definitely a cut above other shirts for boys. The design is very three-dimensional; you can see and feel it when you iron the shirt. The neck to shoulder area is a little tricky to iron (I use the tapered end of the ironing board extensively), because the shirt does not lay flat and each constructive part is cut to enhance a boy's body. I plan on buying the next size up as soon as my son grows out of the current shirt. My son is on the thinner athletic side with angular shoulders, so the fit is perfect and also flattering. Would definitely recommend for boys of such build, but not for plumper kids or those with tapered shoulders.

Very smart and good to finally find someone who sells slim fitting shirts for adolescents.
