Madewell skinny jeans in rinse wash

Color looks great, , material is ok. doens't fit well though. Feels like a "mom" jean, if i knew what mom jeans felt like. Longer torso/hip. even though they say "skinny", these are not. i laid them over a pair of older 484 jeans (slim), and they were wider. too baggy in thighs and too long in leg length (size down). I wear a 31x32 in 484 slim (not the new cuts), had to get a 32x30. wish jc would use one universal sizing system as these just add to there sizing conundrum.

The hunt for the perfect skinny jean for adults is over. These are way skinnier than the 484 (thankfully) from hip to hem but still not too tight in a squeezing way. The color is versatile and the denim has the heavier weight of designer denim. Incredible product!

Once I heard that Madewell was releasing a Men's collection I couldn't wait to try on a pair of their denim. However, after patiently waiting for these to arrive they were quite disappointing. I will say the quality and color were flawless, BUT the fit was a total miss. The rise was too long, a little saggy in the behind, and the leg opening looked more like a slim straight instead of a tapered look. They fit very well through the thighs, but, unfortunately, it missed the fit in all the right places. Needless to say, I ended up returning these and was pretty bummed. Even the associate agreed that the leg opening wasn't tapered/skinny enough and looked more like a slim/straight pant opening. Better luck next time...I hope.
