Fits true to size
Stretch has nothing on these great jeans! Worth it
April 24, 2024I thought these had a little stretch but I ordered the wrong pair. They were a little snug. Did some research and looked up how to make "real denim" fit properly. Long story short. I put them on when still wet from a quick rinse. Moved around 10 mins and then took off and put in the dryer with no heat and one of the most perfect fitting jeans I've ever had. did I mention how they make my behind look? These will last for years.

Reduced Quality
August 28, 2022I have the predecessor to these jeans and it’s unbelievable how much poorer the quality has become since a couple years ago. The fabric is much thinner, all stitching appears weaker, and they’ve removed the leather belt patch in the back.

Something Is Wrong....
July 18, 2022Lifelong J.Crew lover here. I've bought a lot of clothes from them, but never had a problem quite like this. These jeans arrived smelling super chemically, a lot like bleach. Like, to the point that I can't wear them out. I've washed them 4 times now to try to get the smell out but it's not working. I'm starting to give up hope thinking I'll never get to wear these unless I wash them so much that the color runs out. On another note, other folks are reviewing about the comfort and how glad they are that these aren't "stretch" jeans. Honestly, I find them to be pretty rigid. I wish there was some stretch to them. This was my first pair of J. Crew jeans. I'd always imagined them to be a kind of gold standard in this tier of retail. After this experience, they'll definitely be my last pair of denims from J. Crew.

Poor quality, not slim fit
July 12, 2022I dont know what happened to J.Crew quality, but I have bought these exact Jeans before and they were excellent. This time (same size, same jeans) they are boxy, and poor quality. Definitely not a slim cut. Worst part is I cant return them. It feels like they ship out worse quality items on no return sales.

Actually really like the tweaks
June 11, 2022I’ve been buying this (or a very similar) pair of 484 for years. This version is softer, but not stretchier. I dig that. Holds shape really well. It also feels longer / taller through the waist. More room = more comfortable. Big fan.
