770™ Straight-fit stretch jean in medium wash

I've never been disappointed with J.Crew's 770 line of jeans & chinos for their great fit and high standard of materials and stitching. But these Medium Wash Stretch Jeans were very disappointing in their fit and quality. I bought 2 pair and the waist sizes on both was either too small or too large. The front pockets are very shallow that barely fit a cell phone. The quality of the denim feels very cheap compared to other jeans I've purchased from J.Crew. These were 70% and non-returnable, and now I know why! These will be donated to my local charity.

Well constructed. Fit is true to size. Comfortable. No negative aspects of this product.

I own many pairs of 770 jeans/pants and these are much bigger in the waist than the others. I can’t exchange because it’s a final sale item so I’ll just need to donate them. This isn’t close to the first time the sizing has been off base. One time I ordered a pair of 770s in the same size that I couldn’t even button. I’m tired of the quality control issues at J. Crew and this was my last purchase.
