Fit issue.
July 19, 2019The jeans are not cut properly in the upper thigh area. This causes the excess denim to flair out like wings on the side of the jeans. With that exception, the jeans are OK.

October 26, 2018I used to only buy 484s and feel like the fit has been getting too tight (could be me or could be the jeans, although I have older pairs that I still like). These are marketed as "straight" but are definitely more on the slim side, don't be turned off by the name. Great Slim fit jean, good amount of stretch, in my opinion the perfect fit for people that are looking for a more 'athletic' fit update on the 484. Also, like the Madewell branding update, feels like something different. Now people just need to buy more so they can offer more washes!
