This dress is stunning! Looks so good on the body. Easy, flattering, fantastic quality, and super stylish. I got so many compliments when I wore this out on a date. I’m already planning when I can next wear it! Worth every penny! I hope they come out with more like this!

Wow this dress is super flattering! It hugs and drapes in all the right places, I'd love this is more colors, talk about a wardrobe capsule piece!

Neckline and bias cut are pretty and flattering. Otherwise, this fabric is something you'd find from a cheap big box brand. It feels and sounds (yes, sounds) like old school polyester. The lining has strange proportions, and puckers a little at the hips, causing a strange rubbing against your skin. In the photos, the fabric appears luxe and slightly textured - in person, it's a smooth, badly-done print. I purchase a LOT of J. Crew, and rarely leave a negative review - but this should have been sent directly to an outlet. The other Collection pieces I own are in a completely different league than this dress. If for some reason you do feel compelled to it, size up. I'm a solid 10 in all things J. Crew, but as a true hourglass, I've found that this (as well as a couple of other cinched/corset waists this season) runs almost a whole size smaller. I measured it against other pieces from the same season, and it's a couple inches smaller and hits at the same place at my waist as other items.

I agree with the other reviewer - a remarkably beautiful dress - however, it runs very small. I bought my usual J. Crew size 6 and could barely zip it up over my rib cage. It fit like a size 4, or even a size 2. I own quite a few J. Crew dresses and size 6 always fits me. Bought final sale, so I have to give this beauty away. :(

Univocally one (if not the most) beautiful dresses JCrew has ever designed, at least in recent memory. This dress is nothing short of sheer perfection and worth every dollar, even at full price. When I saw it, the beauty and lines struck me and I knew it would be a winner. Out of the ballpark really. This is dramatic and if I were reviewing another brand, I may not be so exuberant, but we haven’t seen anything like this in ages, truly if ever. It’s classic, sexy, flattering to the female form, in short…flawless. Whomever designed this is a straight up superstar. I hope things like this continue for the brand I have treasured for 25 years. Cannot say enough about this. I think it’s still in stock because of price. I would probably pay double. It’s that good.
