Pattern is Too busy !!!
December 22, 2020The pics online are much prettier than the real thing!! Got an XS & still way too big, am 5’3” , 112#, the sleeves make the dress bat-like which wasn’t obvious in the pics !! Should have size down one size , and the pattern is very busy & way too yellowish than the pics , the lining is much smaller than the dress but you can remove it & just wear your own slip . Overall not a good choice for myself, might need to donate it & thank the good lord that I got it on sale!! Only good point is it has pockets !!!!!

This dress makes me happy
November 13, 2020True to size. (I'm a medium, sometimes between a medium and small depending on factors) I bought a medium and it fits great! I wish this came in a "tall" size, but it looks on me like it does the model. (She must be tall too!) I wouldn't mind 2 more inches of length. It's fun, bright, chic, and comfortable. I don't know if it'll wear over winter, but maybe I can get creative. This dress isn't lined, though - it has a slip. A small surprise but I don't really care. (Most JCrew dresses are lined so this was a surprise. I would prefer lined, but oh well.)
