Needs pockets
6 days agoLove: fabric weight & flattering style, dress is lined. Don’t love: where are the pockets? Every dress and skirt should have pockets. The length is super long, I’ve shortened it for a proper fit. The belt needs a loop to secure the end.

Classic and Simple
1 week agoSadly I needed a classic, long, tasteful black dress for a funeral. This is almost perfect. I am 5'1, 110lbs and while it is a little longer on me, it works. I would say this dress runs TTS/small. I ordered both the 00 and the 0. The 00 does fit, but slightly big. IMO the belt is awful. I played around a bit and cut the gold loops off and used the belt fabric to tie behind my waist. It actually works and slims the waist much better. Because it's so simple adding other belts, a blazer, etc, makes it more versatile. Also a lovely weighted fabric.

Thicker black basic dress
2 weeks agoBought the black. Runs slightly small. Wear an 8 lately and it fit well but a tiny bit snug in chest. Tried rheb10 and was too big. Kept the 8. The seaming on the front didn’t bother me. Nice nip in at waist for a fitted silhouette. Replaced belt with my own. Canvas material works I Fall cooler weather. Nice long skirt length and appreciate the sleeves in cooler weather.

Beautiful Versatile Dress
October 1, 2025Beautiful fabric and design. The fabric is substantial and lays nicely. I am 5'4 and it hit almost at the ankle so definitely on the long side for petites. I usually wear 8-10 and I ordered an 8 in this dress and it was too small in the bust. I am 36C for reference. You may want to order up if you want to fit around the bust area.

Beautiful Fabric & Fit
September 25, 2025A timeless classic that is well made and has a beautiful, tailored fit. This will likely be too long for someone under 5’6”, but for for those on the taller side it’s a lovely length. I am 5’8” 145 with a 33” inseam and measurements of 36, 26, 36.5. The sizing measurements provided are spot on. I usually fall between sizes 4 and 6 depending on the fit, and chose a 6 in this dress based on my chest measurement. It fits my chest perfectly, with the waist of the dress falling at my natural waist. I may have the waist taken in a bit.
