Nice bathing suit, just not great on me
September 15, 2021Really wanted a simple black suit and was hoping this would be it. I'm not sure if I got the sizing wrong. My true fit size said 0 but I sized up one size based on the reviews and got a 2. The 0 would have been too small. I'm wondering if maybe I should have gone with a 4, but I think it would have been too baggy, maybe long torso instead? I have no idea. One piece suits are always tricky for me. I'm 5'6" 110 lbs. but not very endowed and the v-neck on this seems really low cut on me which isn't very flattering. The straps don't seem like they will stay put unless they crossed in the back (which they don't). The material is lovely though and I could see this being really flattering on someone with more curves than I have.

Perfect
August 27, 2021I was actually stunned at how beautiful this swimming suit is. The fabric fits all over so smoothly and the top is a very flattering V-neck. I ordered the color Iris (dark purple), which goes great with my olive skin. The leg cut is modest in the front, which I think balances a bold neckline. The back has a beautiful plunge, and my only wish is for a tiny bit more seat coverage— but I realize the cut there is on-trend while still somewhat reserved. I feel like a million bucks in this swimming suit! It’s a winner for sure!

Lining shows- Needs an extra row of stitching
August 21, 2021I love J Crew swimsuits. I ordered three swimsuits with a similar silhouette in different colors. The other two were made better. They have stitching that keeps the lining from showing. The navy suit had black lining and my green had nude. I got this suit in Iris. I love the iris color. The lining is a bright nude.. it could be better. With better stitching there would be no issue. But the elastic can easily roll and expose the unnatural nude lining and that’s why I’m saying the quality isn’t up to par. You made the other swimsuits better…. Why did you skimp on stitching for this one? Bad call.

Sizing Chart is not helpful; Runs Small
August 14, 2021The color of this bathing is amazing, I got the neon flamingo. But suit runs small and the cut is odd too. Unfortunately, the size chart was not helpful. Most reviews said true to size so I purchased my size but it doesn't fit well. The straps twist while wearing it. The bottom roll out to show the inner lining. This is the most I spend on a bathing suit and it was on sale. I am disappointed.

Easy to toss on
July 23, 2021This suit comes so close to being perfect. I agree with others that the nude-colored lining should be the same color as the suit because it does tend to show. I’m always doing perimeter checks and tucking the lining back under. Also, design-wise I wish the back was lower and the leg cut an inch and a half higher in the the front and sides, maintaining the same butt coverage. Up the sexy, but not overtly. Currently, it’s a bit frumpy.
