Not Birkenstock Narrow/Medium
November 11, 2022I waited 8 months to receive these shoes. Then I was mailed a pair of espadrilles instead of Birkenstocks. After finally receiving the correct pair of shoes, I realized they felt huge on my feet because they are the “regular” wide width intended for most men instead of the “medium/narrow” width intended for most women. When I purchased these Birkenstocks as a women’s shoe from J.Crew, I assumed they would be medium/narrow. Next time, I’ll make sure to order directly from Birkenstock. Width information should have been clearly listed in the product sizing and information.

Birkenstock Bostons
August 20, 2022I have to disagree with the previous reviews. I purchased these and they arrived within a week just as pictured, and just as expected. I am normally a 8.5/9, so opted for the 39 - they fit great, slightly wide, but great length-wise. Kicking myself for tossing the ones I wore in high school out years ago, but happy they have made a come back!

September 13, 2021These are not original Birkenstocks… I ordered mine and had them examined by a representative at one of their flagship stores here in Los Angeles; they summarily told us these were fake. Seriously, buyer beware (I know J.Crew’s customer service insisted they are direct from manufacturer but multiple sales representatives that sell these all day at an actual Birkenstock store would probably know better). BEWARE

Counterfeit Bostons
August 17, 2021Bought these several months ago and have a strong suspicion they are counterfeit. They fit different than my other Bostons, and the strap is located a full half inch further back than my other ones with the result being they look like clown shoes. The suede has no nap, and the rivets are different. Same price as on the official Birkenstock store, but the only place that had taupe in stock, also a warning sign. Love J.Crew but beware of this situation.
