Not that small
April 23, 2019I am a 34D and usually wear a Small or 6 in J Crew tops. After reading the reviews, I thought I needed a Large in the top for coverage. The large is swimming on me. You do not need to size up that dramatically. I would exchange it, but the bottoms had no coverage. Overall, disappointed with the suit.

Love the fabric, not enough of it
May 2, 2018I'm a solid B and this size Large top was really challenging to get on!!! Once I achieved the nearly impossible feat of getting the top on it didn't offer enough coverage (I am not very well endowed either). I wish it fit because the fabric/piping combo is adorable. I will keep the solid red bottom I bought and will wear with other bikini tops I've bought from J Crew that are a bit more modestly cut.

Hard to tie the top
April 9, 2018I loved the look of this bikini but found it very hard to tie the top so that it it closed all the way and looked like it does on the model. If I'd had another set of hands to keep it from untying while making the bow it would have worked out, but who actually has another person with them every time they put on a bikini? I'm planning on returning it, which is a big disappointment because I love the pattern and blue piping detail around the edges.

September 3, 2017this bikini top has very minimum coverage on your chest, I am regret of buying it and since it was on clearance I can't return it otherwise I would.

June 23, 2017This bikini is perfect! I'm a solid medium in all thing jcrew swim and this top was no exception. I don't really agree with some of the other reviewers that it is too small, I'm a 34c and I loved (loved) the lift it gave me. Way more flattering than a typical triangle top. I also loved the color combination, very preppy and fun!

Love this bikini BUT...
June 4, 2017Ordered a small based on the size chart and recommendation for A/B cups, but it's just a little too open in the center (sexy for a beach day with the husband, but not so much for a 40'something mom), a M would be better for me...unfortunately it's sold out in Medium at the moment. JCrew: I hope you order more! This suit is soo unique and adorable. Stocking the website nearly daily hoping a medium will become available. Also; would love to see a notification-system of some sort, notifying customers when an item is back in stock. If you are a size they still have in stock, get it! You'll love it.
