Appalling
December 20, 2023If you are buying these expecting some sort of selvedge pair of jeans that will wear and mold to your shape in over a number of years, avoid these like the plague. After being tight to start, within 6 hours of wearing (most of which sat at a desk) they have completely lost their shape (to the extent it looked like I was wearing a diaper). There is absolutely nothing about these to justify charging 4x what you can get in a Levi sale. Spend the extra money and get a proper pair from someone else

Happy with these
April 22, 2021Good fit and color. Color is on the darker side, which I like. Glad I got them.

Great slim fit
April 15, 2021The 484 is a great fit if you are looking for a slim, but not skinny fit. The stretch fabric is very comfy too.

April 7, 2021When I saw this 484 Slim-fit jean in stretch dark worn in Japanese denim was exited to get it so let me tell you that when I got it and put them on I felt extremely comfortable and I love the wash color because is not super dark or super light is just right that goes with anything for spring and summer with dress shoes, sandals or snekers.

Feel good jeans, almost there for perfect fit
March 13, 2021I’m a thin guy, so pants tend to not fill out at all on me. Consequently, slim fits are better for me and these 484 jeans get closer to my ideal fit than other brands I’ve tried. I love the durable feel of this denim and these jeans have just the right amount of stretch, thickness, and comfort. The color is great; dark, but worn/faded slightly so as to soften the look. They really do feel broken in right off the rack. I have a pair of 770’s that move a little better than these, but between the 2 kinds, I’m sold on JCrew jeans. Great quality, ideal comfort, and a product that delivers as advertised: get some!

Not slim-fit and really disappointing quality
March 6, 2021I have gotten many good deals and good quality clothing items here at JC, but this is definitely not one of them. It’s a final sale so I’ll need to donate of give as a gift to someone that might like it, but very disappointed about this purchase. The material is not the worse thing about it, the wash/printed wrinkles on back of knee, and even the one on the front are just a cheap looking fake effect that throws a shade on the denim quality and then the cut, which is definitely not a slim fit, more of a boot cut, but a bad one, too. I also had a bad luck with the other slim fit model, I think it was 770, that one was way too skinny, worse then leggings and the material too thick. Also a final sale, so not a huge damage, but just disappointing. I’ll stick to shirts, sweaters and jackets, and more good things here, but definitely no jeans for me here at JC for now. Mavi type of jeans, material/fit, should be much better to include in the collection instead of the current selections.
