Sweetheart long-sleeve mini dress

The dress is revealing in the chest area. I added a cami for modesty. Looks pretty with shoes and sandals. Dressy but casual as well.

I debated long and hard about buying this dress and I’m very glad my answer was a solid yes there is no regrets in my closet by adding it

I wish I read the other review before I ordered this dress because she is right, this dress does not accommodate a larger chest at all. There’s so little material in the chest area that the top barely fits and you can see the top of my demi bra, I feel totally exposed. It’s snug zipping up so I can’t even fit another layer to cover up my chest hanging out. It’s also so short on me, I have a behind so the dress sticks out in an unflattering angle, rather than the nice gentle A-line on the model. Usually A line dresses work for my body type but this looked awful. It feels like I’m wearing a sexy weirdly shaped slip rather than a dress. No hem to take out to extend the dress a few inches. So bummed because the emerald color would be great for fall.

I love the happy casual vibe of this dress but the bodice does not contain enough fabric around to make it possible for me to wear the dress without looking somewhat indecent (which is a look, but not what I was going for on that particular day). Other than this, the fit of the dress is fine. For reference my bra size is 36E and most large/size 12 J. Crew dresses fit me fine. I think it would still look cute if you wore it over a thin turtleneck or something but otherwise this is likely for the less chesty amongst us.
