December 11, 2021This dress is lovely but it runs way too big. I'm a small generally, but lately I can't buy my size in J Crew as I don't know what I'll get. I read the reviews and bought an XS. It was way too big, especially in the arms and waist. Had my tailor take it in but they weren't able to get the lines to run across smoothly along the waist area, so now it's a bit weird but if I wear it with a jacket it will be fine. I'm tired of buying my size with J Crew and ending up with over sized clothing. SMH

FAVORITE SAILORS DRESS
November 1, 2021I love this dress. It has been a favorite design of mines and so happy to be an owner of one. It does run large and had to tailor it down to size. It's so pretty and flows nicely with my sandals on. You look professional and sophisticated when you have it on. Gotten a lot of compliments. Thinking of getting other colors. The material is a bit heavier compared to other cotton items at JCREW. Overall, one happy customer!
