Striped Fair Isle crewneck sweater

Super cute Christmas sweater, I love the pattern. I got the Navy and had no issues with color bleeding. Instructions say to hand wash, but I washed it in the washing machine in a lingerie bag, and it came out fine. But wow it's SO itchy. It's not a comfortable sweater at all, and I couldn't bear to wear it for a whole day. Bought a medium because some of the J.Crew sweaters run small, but it was pretty boxy so I should've gotten a small. Oh well, can't win em all.

Very cute sweater. I got a lot of compliments on it and luckily I got to wear it a few times before I tried to hand wash it in cold water. The pink bled everywhere. I tried to rinse all of the pink out and laid it out in my tub to dry - within hours the pink had bled again all over the white. I rinsed it all out again, really hoping that the pink would eventually stop running and bleeding everywhere. This went on for 4 days of rinsing it thoroughly a few times a day, leaving it to dry and still coming back to so much pink everywhere. I eventually had to call J Crew customer service where they were very nice, and they had me return it for a refund. It was a disappointment though as it is very cute.

Beautiful sweater with a great fit, but really disappointed in the quality. As other reviews have noted, after hand washing in cold water (as the label says), the pink bled into the white areas. Really disappointed in this from J Crew and the price point of this sweater.

Man, I thought I finally found my classy fair isle sweater, but this one had to go and be itchy! Otherwise it fit well and was adorable, but none of that matters if you can’t stand the fabric.
