Poor Quality
December 2, 2022For “midweight” this is about as thin and cheaply built as anything you’ll find. loose threads. cheap plastic buttons. narrow shoulders but long sleeves? and I’m afraid to wash it given the other reviews about shrinking and pilling. Wouldn’t be a bad buy at $20 but I expect better for the name and price. Will be returning.

Not what they used to be
February 27, 2022I have one of these I bought a while back. It's made in Marituis and says "every stitch considered". I've washed it like 100 times and it still looks great. These new ones by comparison are trash. After one wash on gentle cycle the collars are completely destroyed and the hem at the waist is curling up.

5-stars on Day One, 1-star after first wash
February 22, 2022I loved this flannel when I got it - great weight, solid material. However, after the first wash, not only did the flannel shrink to a comically small size (I even sized up after reading reviews), but nearly every single button on the shirt disintegrated. I now have to do decide if I want to re-sew buttons on this entire shirt which does not even fit me anymore. After a few similar experiences, I might be done buying JCrew clothes.

February 16, 2022The fit is basically perfect, with or without a thicker sweater underneath. The colors on mine were great. The only real issue was the top button being a little tight, other than that they are perfect.

Cheap buttons that break
February 3, 2022I own two of these shirts and both now have multiple broken buttons. Terrible quality, just completely unacceptable. Buttons are not expensive items, and I can’t understand why J Crew went so cheap on these. I expect much better from J Crew.
