Slouchy boyfriend jean in washed black

The fabric in these jeans is great--very little stretch ( which I hate), and substantial. They look slouchy, modern and cool, especially with boots. ( The photos on the website do not do them justice. ) I normally wear a size 2 and the size 26 was a good fit--perhaps a tad loose in the waist, which I like because it is more comfortable. If I could be sure that this style in another wash would be identical, I'd buy them.

The description says midrise jeans but it goes up to my waist just below the belly button . It fits pretty closely in the hips. I usually wear size 25 in vintage straight jeans and size 26 in toothpick jeans. Since there were no reviews I got size 25, expecting it to fit slouchy overall but was pretty disappointed. The only thing slouchy is the leg width. The jeans are also surprisingly heavy.
