it's a miss for me
July 29, 2024It is not the most flattering dress when you have a long torso. I am 5 "10 so the cut out was high or me which is almost exposing the rounds of my bosoms. it's final sale and so I am stuck with it unfortunately.

June 14, 2024, not sure if the dress I got is faulty, but I’m 5.9 and usually JCrew dresses are great for me (length-wise), but this one is way off, barely touches my knee and the cutout line is right under my boobs - not exactly a classy look.

June 6, 2024This is really tricky dress. First, it is hard to wear and take off. Second, the material does not seem so collection. Third, it shows your body structure like a mirror. Unless you have a very athletic body, I don't think this will look good on us. I am returning.

May 21, 2024There were so few reviews for this dress, I wasn't sure how it would fit. All the reviews were great and they are right. This dress is much sexier in person than on the hanger. It is hard to get into. There are three zippers and the one on the back is the hardest to zip up on your own. I must warn you that the dress is hard to get into. You have to unzip all three zippers and put it over your head. Then pull the dress down. It's a gorgeous dress for those special occasions. I don't own any long sleeved dresses so this would be perfect for the colder months. It shows just a bit of skin to make it sexy and not just another black dress. The material for the skirt is clingy so it will show all your curves. I got it in my usual size 2 and the fit is perfect. I wouldn't size up. The top fits perfectly. The bottom is flowy. I can't wait until I have an event to wear this to! Get it! You won't regret it.

April 28, 2024I wasn’t sure about the cut outs and being professional at a gala dinner but I was delighted to see it was done in a way that was fashionable and chic! Stand out and still be classy with this dress. I’ll be buying more of Anna October if I can get on sale! Great buy!
