8" toothpick jean in Bryson wash

So happy I found these on sale! Unlike less expensive jeans that feel like Denim-colored leggings, these actually have a real, classic denim feel, with just a hint of give. Without too much stretch, they help hold you in, too, just the right amount. Unlike other jeans that are priced up for the service of being "slimming" or whatever verbiage they use for the addition of stronger Lycra. I like the trendy cut-off hem, too. These are perhaps a bit longer than I'd like, but it's no big deal to snip them shorter if I need to!

I like my skinny jeans a little looser than shown in the catalog photos and found a 27 in the toothpicks fit perfectly for years. Now, with the higher waist, the waistband bags and the pants are overall larger than my other toothpicks. It sure would be nice if product measurements were more accessible.

This pair of jeans are cute, I especially liked the unheeded look. Unfortunately my usual size was too large so they went back. The color is great, and the style is on point.

Must say ever since I tried jcrew toothpick jeans i cant stop buying them! The fit is amazing as are all toothpick jeans. Great quality. The only minor hiccup is the wash. In person jeans have white lines under neath front pockets that make these very difficult to dress up. Its a relaxed fit kind of jean. Very comfortable and i do wear them a lot! But wish the line detail at the front was diffrent.

I wanted so badly to love these but they're going back. The wash is great and the rise is perfect. I'm 115 lbs and 5'6 and the 26 fit perfectly. The amount of stretch and the thinness of the material was a deal breaker though. I just want a sturdier denim that stays on my hips and I don't have to tug on during the day. My 5+ year old J Crew matchsticks are the most perfect denim ever and I would love for you to bring that back!
