My husband loves wildly patterned ties, while I prefer rich colors and classic designs, and this tie pleases us both. The colors are bright but not over-the-top. The traditional foulard patterns, running in stripes, make this tie unusual without going overboard. And it's wool, so it has a lot of heft. This tie will liven up a navy blazer or a charcoal tweed sport coat in the best way. If only there were more occasions to wear ties!
