47 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers really like this workshirt for its soft chamois feel, heavy warmth, and sturdy build, and many wear it as a layering piece or even as a light jacket in fall and winter. The fit is generally described as a bit roomy or slightly generous, so some customers were happy staying with their normal size while others suggested sizing up for a more relaxed fit. It tends to look polished but rugged, and plenty of customers mention getting compliments on it. A few customers noted the collar and sleeves can feel a little snug or short, so checking measurements before ordering could be helpful.

A Great Piece for a Man to Add to His Arsenal
February 14, 2022A winter essential for the type of man who can see his clothing as functional tools fit for the job of life. This piece is soft, thick, Warm, as well as durable. If you enjoy layering for ultimate warm & a perpetual Spring, then you will appreciate this piece. Aside from insulation, there are 4 pockets making the Chamois functional. Easy pair with thermals & a vest during winter. Lastly it obviously looks good. Drawbacks: More movement in the armpit would be appreciated. The side pockets need wider mouths (hard too easily slide an iPhone in/out).

Best chamois work shirt
February 3, 2021This shirt is great, I bought it for me to wear as a jacket. On days that are not so cold, instead of a big coat. It's a men's small it fits really good a little over sized but great.

Rugged outdoorsy style from a name you can trust
December 17, 2020I’ve owned previous versions of J. Crew chamois shirts but these are a cut above those. The fit, color choice, and ruggedness are superior to the old ones. The sleeves are long enough so when I stick my arms out they don’t ride up which is something I really appreciate. Slightly larger than true to fit so don’t feel discouraged about layering with a button up Henley or your favorite waffle long John for that “I just finished chopping wood in the wilderness” look. Complete the ensemble with a beard, beanie, and some boots. Ladies and men alike will be swarming you like the salmon of Capistrano.
