Destination stretch performance suit jacket

I ordered this for my husband and the quality of the fabric just doesn't compare to all of his other J. Crew suits. The fabric is thick, but not in a nice way and make SO much noise when it's worn and he moves around. Super synthetic feeling and has that polyester sheen typical of cheap suits. There is only ONE button at the cuffs. And it's nonfunctional. I have never seen a suit jacket with just one button at the cuffs - looks so unprofessional and like it was a mistake. I definitely don't recommend this suit if you're looking for something high quality. This might work as a casual jacket to wear with jeans at the right price but even that's pushing it.

Suit labeled as black but truthfully it’s blueblack. Nevertheless I’m thinking of throwing away all my other clothes and only wearing this all the time no matter the event. I’m a dad, and one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. So I wear suits at least twice a week, the suit needed to be modest and I wanted it to be stylish whilst I carry baby around. The fit is excellent, pants are slim but not too tight (though I do have bird legs). The stretch of this suit makes it my most comfortable AND makes it very practical for handling baby, I’m constantly bending down to pickup stuff he throws. Not only comfy, it seems to have a hint of water repellent something.... Case in point, baby spat up a bit on the jacket. I rubbed it with a paper towel and it came right off.

So long story short I've never owned a black suit, decided I wanted one but didn't have $600-700 lying around to spend on one. I noticed these Destination suits when they first came out and threw the black one in my wish list just to see if it would go on sale. Last week it did, so I got the jacket and pants. Very interesting suit. Love the fit and the stretch is pretty incredible. Hands down the most comfortable suit I've ever owned. Also it has some cool modern touched like hidden zipper pockets. Fabric is a bit coarse though and it does seem to "rustle" a bit when I move, but its not bad. Also side pockets don't have flaps and the pocket for the pocket square is missing. Thats odd to me, but not a dealbreaker. Overall? Pleased with my purchase. Its just not your typical J.Crew suit. Be prepared for that if you buy.

Disappointing as a suit, this jacket is short and awkward. The aim is stylish and modern but I suspect it only fits a Skinny 20-something-build. I’m fit and tall. The pants look tailored but the jacket 1. Even is a size long is too short. 2. As another reviewer stated, I ‘sized -up’ because other reviewers stated this ran small, and it was still too short and awkward. This would not pass as professional attire. Truly disappointing as the trousers are a hit.

After shopping at a bunch of stores for my son who is a senior in high school, we came across this jacket at JCrew. The fit is great and it is very well tailored. He looks sharp in it and loves his new jacket...Thank you!

This suit is comfortable, has a little stretch and is flattering.
