August 25, 2025I ordered a size 6 and for reference, I’m 5’9” with a 36” bust and curvier hips. This dress fit like a dream! The glossy twill fabric has a luxe feel, and the lace-trim details add such an elegant, feminine touch. Too small AND Too big
August 10, 2025*Sigh*. I wanted this dress to work. I shouldve known it wouldn’t though because I tried Wren last year and it didn’t work. I’m normally a size 6 and that is the size I purchase. The blue and white stripe was too tight in the waist and there were button gaps. The pintuck pleats stuck out in weird ways. The sleeves were a little too much and the fabric was very stiff. Maybe that would’ve changed with some washing and ironing. I dunno. Because the blue and white was too tight I ordered the red and white glossy twill wren in size 8 and it was too big!!!! So red white but in your normal size and the blue and white probably one size up. But I think I’m done trying to make Wren work for me. It just doesn’t.
