Ondine mini dress in double cotton poplin

Such a great summer staple - washes well.

I was really excited for this dress, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. When I first opened the package, I noticed a small makeup mark, the JCrew tag was half off, and the dress smelled like vinegar. Those things weren’t necessarily dealbreakers since it can be washed, but the sizing is really strange. I read a lot of reviews saying the dress runs tight in the chest, so I ordered a Small, but it’s huge on me. The fit is extremely boxy and not very flattering. I got it during the sale, so I’m going to try bringing it to a tailor, although I’m honestly not sure how much they’ll be able to fix. It’s also definitely more of a “standing only” dress with the way it fits and falls makes sitting down pretty awkward. I really wanted to love it, but overall, I was disappointed with the fit.

Love. so chic for summer. Definitely slightly big in the bust but nothing my tailor cant fix. Stunning quality as always.
