Such a fun dress.
July 9, 2022I feel like I need a beach vacation just to wear this and show it off. The material is a nice linen with a cotton lining. The pattern is gorgeous. I should have gone with a small instead of an XS but I wanted to buy it. It's a little tight (I'm 128 lb 27 waist 34 bust without bra).

So close to perfect!
July 4, 2022So I found this dress to be true to size. I’m 5ft about 103lbs (32c & 24 inch waist)The fabric and print are gorgeous. The only complaint and reason for the drop in stars is the slit. I did sew it up and it looks and still fits great. I’m not sure what’s happening with the dresses here on J Crew this spring/summer. Most of them have slits, cutouts or are spaghetti strapped… I would not mind if one or two style had these design aspects but like 99% of the dresses do. Hopefully next year will be better. But as far as this dress it’s definitely beautiful and I’ll be wearing it now that I fixed the slit.

Gorgeous dress, super high quality, must buy
June 24, 2022This dress looks like a modern royalty, super high quality as others mentioned. Looks amazing paired with rose gold jewelry (rose gold earrings on in my photo :) I am 5’2 101 lbs 34b and got XXS. Smocking is tight and firm, yes it still stretches, but it is thicker quality linen. But I think if I had sized up it would have been too loose, but I do wish I had the next size up to try and compare at least. I will try to stretch it a bit wearing it around my hips for a while lol but it looks stunning on. Long story short- this is an AMAZING dress in a stunning print (I don’t need this in the solids bc the print in this is so amazing) but I would definitely not size down, take your normal size and if you have a larger bust or thicker in the middle it might be more comfortable sizing up. I just would definitely not size down as it may be uncomfortably tight/ firm in the smocking area. But definitely buy this dress while you can! This will be gorgeous into fall even! Such a versatile print!
