Made for narrow feet
November 14, 2021I read the reviews prior to purchase and agree that these were made for people with narrow feet. Otherwise, they are true to size and will be good to wear with tights or thin socks.

good quality boots
November 6, 2021I got 7.5, they are TTS but the toe box is a little on the narrow side, however it works for me coz I have narrow feet. The shaft of the boots fits roomy on my legs, which I like, I'm 5'7" 134 lb slender body type. If you are more of an athletic type they may not work for you. The quality is decent and I'm glad I bought them. Thank you JCrew

Good Knee High Boots
October 21, 2021I purchased the black pair in size 12. I thought about buying one of the other colors. I saw some of the reviews claiming the sizing is strange so I thought I would share some pictures/measurements. For me, and I think I have wide feet (and skinny calves), these worked out great. I almost wish the calves were a bit narrower. Heel-to-toe: 12" Width at ball of foot: ~4" Width at calf: 7.5" x 2 = ~15" Amateur measurements, but hopefully they help. I want J Crew to keep carrying size 12, so I would hate for these not to sell because of gambling on final sale and misperceptions on size.

Adorable boots but tight in the calf
October 19, 2021When I saw these boots I thought they were so nice. I had my eyes on them since they first came on the website, but I was confused when they quickly went to final sale. I didn’t see any reviews so I was nervous to buy them. The boots are made well. The color of the boots is beautiful. The foot part fit fine, but the Shaft part of the boot did not go over my calf at all. I wish J.Crew would bring these back with a wide or wider calf option. I am returning these, but if the wider calf option comes out I will purchase right away. Please J.Crew a wider calf option!!! Only 3 stars given were for how tight they were. They truly are nicely made beautiful boots, and I’m really bummed.
