Fits slightly big based on
7 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers really like this shirt for its relaxed, oversized vibe, pretty branching print, and easy styling over tanks, shorts, or as a light layer. The fabric is lightweight and soft, with a breezy feel that works well for warm weather, though several customers noted it is somewhat sheer. Fit-wise, it tends to run large, so customers often suggested sizing down if they want a less oversized look. Overall, it comes across as a cute, summery shirt that looks even better in person and feels comfortable for laid-back wear.

Summery boho vibe
October 7, 2021I normally would order size 8 (for semi-fitted) or size 10 (for slim fit) for a button-down shirt, but this is truly a relaxed fit, so I sized down to a 6, and it fits well, with a touch of room to spare. I have a 34DDD bust, 150 lbs., 5'5", so button-downs can be tricky as they often gape at the chest, but this lightweight top has an easy, flowing fit. A bit long in length, but that's fine as I wear it over tank dresses and tank tops. Has an artsy, boho vibe, with a lovely delicate light purple floral motif. Fabric is silky soft cotton. Slightly sheer, but this is a summer top so I have no issue with that. I live in a warm climate and appreciate fabrics that breathe.

Beautiful blouse
July 21, 2021Reviewers are correct that this top seems to run intentionally large. However, it's truly big. I could definitely have gone down 1-2 sizes. The sizing at J. Crew has made it extremely difficult to shop lately. Beyond that, the quality seems excellent. It's sheer as it's meant to be with the slightly dropped shoulder as shown. Maybe it's cut to wear as a cover up only? It would be difficult to wear as a shirt running as big as it does, unless you were quite tall. I'm 5'4", 120lb. (32DDD/G, 25" waist) and the size 2 is swimming on me. The buttons at the collar are my least favorite part. It also lays very flat on my chest instead of open in a more relaxed way. I would say order the size based on how you prefer it to fit.
