Everyday cashmere cardigan with jeweled buttons

I ordered this in grey, typically I range between an XXS and S in tops, and chose to keep the XS this time as it was loose enough to layer with. I've had bad experiences with jcrew cashmere in the past 2 years, and this exceeded my expectations and was a great bargain at the sale price, definitely higher quality than the "everyday" cashmere crewnecks, for comparison. Also tried in white, and it was slightly sheer if wearing a patterned top underneath.

This is a basic cardigan, albeit in soft, thicker-than-usual cashmere. The big jeweled buttons are what really make it a standout. The sweater is classic, but with that little bit of bling. Dress it up with a black satin skirt or wear it with jeans. I got it in the burgundy color, which is really pretty, and a nice change of pace from black or cream, and nearly as versatile.

This sweater is just lovely -- I wanted the black but, as it sold out so quickly, wound up with the pink -- and it's beautiful! (I have it on right now, as a matter of fact.) I've worn it alone as a top, over the silk Tiger Print shirt, over t-shirts.....it literally goes with anything. It can be dressy or casual, you can't go wrong with this one. Every single time I wear it, I get compliments. It's a keeper -- I might have to get a second color!
