Collection silk twill shirt-dress in sleepy lions print

I wanted this dress for a while but my size 6 was not available. I decided to take a risk with a final sale size 8. I have to say size up at least one because it fits me perfect. the color is to die for, pink. love it

This dress is everything I want from JCrew. The material is silk and the print is amazing. The color looks great on and I can't wait to wear it. My only complaint is that I'm about 5'8 and this hits below my knees. I almost thought I ordered a tall size and I did not. I will have it shortened, which won't be a challenge, to above the knee so it's more flattering. That is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.

I loved the deep pink background colour and the lions are a fun pattern. It’s a silk, which will be good for a Californian summer, but because of the twill weave it didn’t get that static cling which can sometimes happen with the more usual silk fabric. The fit was perfect. Roomy but not oversized and I will wear it many times as the weather gets warmer. Think I could also layer with a turtle neck, opaque tights and a jacket to extend its wearability through into fall and winter
