Women's 1988 rollneck™ sweater in cotton

XS Warm Ivory sweater is a staple for any woman's wardrobe. I am Petite at 5'3", 100lbs. I have 4 other 1988 Rollneck sweaters in the CROPPED style. I knew this sweater would fit longer on me and do not mind because of the quality and softness of the cotton. 1 star deducted from Style because no Petite style was offered. The overall length hits past my hips and almost completely covers my bum. The sleeves fall past my wrists and stop before my knuckles. These sweaters wash well and I have never had a problem with pilling. J.Crew, please consider offering the CROPPED style again, the length is perfect for petite women.

I ordered an XS in Warm Ivory (mine is more off- white) for a slightly relaxed fit (I think an XXS would have fit too) and I hope it doesn't stretch out! The fabric is very soft. I like the longer length as it's hard to find sweaters that aren't cropped. I hope J. Crew brings this vintage style back permanently!

I bought this sweater in the pretty color, spicy jade, and at first it was large on me. I shrank it in the dryer so now it's more of a snug fit. Good quality & classic style.

I love rollrecks but this one is just ok, not as cute as my old cotton roll neck sweaters. These yarns are a bit too soft & loose so that the sweater has no body and therefore is clingy on me. I’ll try a denim shirt under it but I wanted it for comfort. Unfortunately, I look like a potato. Maybe a darker color would’ve been more forgiving. I got the natural/white.

I had the original version of this sweater and was thrilled to see it in production again. The sweater is exactly how I remember it, soft and warm and a classic. So happy it’s back.

I love this classic rollneck sweater. It's timeless for me in fit, comfort, and style.
