Shirt-jacket in denim

I wanted to love this jacket but sadly it was oversized even though I bought the XS. The fabric and quality are amazing but the oversized clothes are not for me

It's very chic, but it does run quite large. I purchased the XXS and it was still a bit loose—I'm normally an XS or S in J.Crew jackets. Like the other reviewer noted, the buttons aren't sturdy, so you'll have to be careful (why I knocked off a star). Overall, a fabulous piece, especially on a deep sale.

I ordered my usual size small and it fit like a roomy medium. The sleeves are long and the body is wide. Even with the belt tied tightly, it looked all wrong. The fabric is substantial and it seems well constructed, but those shiny buttons are sewn on, rather than riveted. They will fall off, beginning with the unnecessary ones that keep your hands out of the front pockets. Not using rivets was a cheap shortcut, especially at this price. I'm not going to try a smaller size.
